Looked familiar- and he was!- my cfi for my PPC! Hadn’t seen him for roughly two decades.
I knew he was an excellent instructor, but the intervening time reinforced that- as I dealt with a true emergency 14 years ago- he’s part of why I’m here to post, today.
He’s not even primarily an ATP- it’s his hobby. Flies evenings and weekends, after dealing with his interesting, creative, thriving business.
He took me aboard, showed me the CRJ. Made an announcement welcoming me.
Anyway, many of the long timers here “know” him from the old red board. He narrated his transition to ATP He’s doing great. Sold his arrow, bought a faster, neater plane.
