I have a Flightstream 210 that is paired with my iPad and Foreflight for ADS-B traffic and weather. I would also like to pair my iPad with my Bose A20 so that I can hear things like "entered runway 16R" or traffic calls from ForeFlight.

How can I pair to get audio out on my Bose A20 while maintaining the iPad to FS210 connection?

The bluetooth on the A20 is for cellular calls only (IIRC). You could use an audio cable into the A20 for foreflight

This is only part true. There are now two versions of the A20, one is cellular only and the other will do other audio. So step one is figure out if you have the correct A20.

Seems I have the older one but Bose seems to have an upgrade program. Probably easier to use a cable.

You can indeed buy an upgrade cable from Bose for $150. Yes, an audio cable is cheaper.
