"fore" caution wake turbulence

I'm watching the golf tournament that's happening in the Miami area, and the course they're playing on is under the approach path for KMIA. They were talking about how the airplanes flying overhead at 600agl are not only distracting to the players, but how some of the shots are actually affected by the wake turbulence! Hah!
"Cleared to drive, tee 12, caution wake turbulence!"

wow - that never occurred to me before, but I guess it makes sense. As long as the PGA doesn't petition to have GA blocked from the event because of it, I'd like to see some studies done to see how much of a difference wake makes.
