Also, there are some folks (veterans, friends of veterans, etc) who are wanting to attend but don't have an easy way up there. I'm taking along two vets in the Cardinal--that and full fuel (we're gonna be going high and fast for this trip) pretty much puts me at max.

If there are any other vets/supporters/friends of vets who are thinking of heading up that way and have room for one more that's in your neck of the woods or on the way, you know it would be appreciated more than you'll ever know.

I'm going to register on the discussion board linked above simply to stay abreast of the armband availability.

Wow, Kent. I never knew this existed! I'm VERY seriously considering signing up for at least a co-pilot spot. I keep kicking myself for not enlisting in the military out of high school, so maybe this will help 'serve' the guys that are serving in my place.

Amen to that. By the time I thought that maybe I'd like to be in the USAF, I was too damn old to go in as enlisted, and I didn't have the degree to go in as an officer.

This is just one way to help ease the hardships that these guys and their families go through.
