For Sale: Gorgeous Cessna 205

I've flown it too often at 21" / 2200 RPM. :wink2:
And what percentage power is that? On the T210 (1966) I've flown that's about 45% power below 10K'! :) Training power has little relationship to actual en route conditions.

Dan, no way 143 knots at 6000. N8411Z was my Cessna 205, completely book, and the book flat out at 6000 was 136 knots. I would get 135.

Unless there are a slew of mods for an airplane with only two years' production, I think this is BS.

Go back and look at your first post. It contradicts yourself to post 38.

I would suggest there is something leaking in the static system. Yes, it's a gorgeous C205. I'm a fan. But 143 knots (128 IAS at 6000) is just not a happening thing.

He just can't win, can he? :dunno:

FWIW, Dan didn't say it got 143 at 6000 - That was simply my estimate based on his 23"/2300 and 128 KIAS.

Hopefully, he paid attention to the altitude, temperature, etc. so he can give us a number for actual true airspeed.
