FMS early turns on Departures

I know there was a discussion about this on some forum a few years ago, but can't remember how/if it was resolved. Take the Reno KRNO Mustang 7 departure. The issue was that some FMS's were turning prior to Rijtu, treating Rijtu as a fly by waypoint, and hence turning early towards FMG Vor. While those using conventional navaids were waitting until 3 dme, and then turning, basically treating Rijtu as a fly over waypoint.

Can anyone verify if fms's code points like Rijtu as fly over now, vice fly by?

I think, with our FMS, you have to manually define a waypoint as a fly-by, otherwise it treats everything as a fly-over. I can't say for certain, though. We don't do many RNAV SIDs out here, most everything seems to be a vector SID. If I get a few minutes before work today I'll try to load that DP today and see what it says.
