Seems Jesse James and his crew have finally broken ground, turning a roadster into an "aircraft" that managed to fly in ground effect for a couple hundred feet. If I remember correctly there was a flying boat that stayed in ground effect, the FAA made the decision that it was not an aircraft. and they wanted nothing to do with it.
