Flight Training Benefits

So I'm working on a little project and curious to get some outside opinions on the benefits of Flight Training, in particular but not limited to Part 61 training. Benefits could be anything to do with adding pilots to the job pool, recreational economic impacts, how it helps airport infrastructures, etc.

I have a decent grasp on struggles faced but it's harder to brainstorm positive impacts. It's also focused not just on the pilot making process itself but other factors like economic impact as well as others too.
