Flash Chat not working right

There are a bunch of us that still cannot get in. The error is that we do not have permission for flash chat, we are asked for a login and our PoA logins do not work.

Please help!
 
yes please im starting to go into withdrawals
 
Its been a while since I saw that message when trying Flashchat. Brought back memories. heh.
 
I could kind of get into flashchat.....

Sorry guys, must have missed another permission flag somewhere.
 
Ok I've adjusted the promotion system so that once you're validated, you still retain secondary membership in Registered Users. This SHOULD allow you to access chat...

Hopefully...
 
I got in but I still don't see flashchat on the main forum page where it shows who's currently in the chat.
 
Is this on the main forum list you're talking about, or on the home page with the different layout and the various little boxes of info?
 
On the main forum list under "What's Going On?".
 
It used to be that if you clicked on Forum at the top of the page (http://www.pilotsofamerica.com/forum?) there would be a portlet toward the bottom entitled "What's going on" that would show who was logged in, who was in FlashChat, Statistics, and Today's Events. The portion of that portlet that talks about FlashChat is now gone.
 
Its not gone.... you just can't see it.

Figuring out why, however, I'm struggling with.

Hold on to something, I'm gonna upgrade the flashchat integration components.
 
Ok, that fixed it, I think. You should be able to see who's in chat, again.
 
*sigh* the things I go through just to stop the filth from coming through...

vBulletin is really powerful...and a real pita as a result, sometimes...

Hopefully this fiasco is over...
