First Solo

Jeanie,

Tell me the truth. Was this a bigger thrill than your OWN first solo?

Sounds like a kick and my goal is to get my CFI for a retirement "job." If I can make it happen, I really think my first student to solo might be more exciting than my own.

~~~~~~~~ It was actually just because I could step back and enjoy it and not be the one w/ the nerves so much. I have another student that's real close too so here in a week or 2 there'll be another one flying around with a better climb rate!

The open window part of the story made me think of a favorite Redneck joke that we can adapt...

Q. How can you tell a redneck is is the pilot of that Cessna?
A. From the tobbaco spit stains streaked down the left side of the fuselage.

Q. How can you tell the redneck pilot has his girlfriend with him in that Cessna?
A. From the tobbaco spit stains streaked down both sides of the fuselage.
