First Landout of 2012

The soaring season has started for me. Had a fun, challenging flight of 2.5 hrs. Went 32.5 miles around a 45ish mile triangle. Landed at Jacob's house (who lurks here). Had a lot of fun.

Cool, I have had 3 flights so far this season. 3.3. hours 4.3 hours and Fridays was only 1.3 hours. Friday I struggled to get away finally climbed to 7500 and then headed on course and then didn't find anything. Went about 10 miles and then retreated back to the nearest airport, and ended up landing. Any easy retrieve was only 5 miles from my departure airport. Made a whole 45 points on OLC.
Still have just a bit under a 3hours per flight average for the year.
