And a blazing 3.8meg symmetrical connection. Not bad for living in the middle of the hills.

Of course it does require this giant 802.11 grid antenna.

I wish it was free. I live way out past DSL range. I had Sprint Broadband, a wireless cable modem basically, but they lost/didn't pay for/gave up their spectrum back to the FCC. So IDSL was the next solution, but phone companies just don't understand how to provision a line...

So I've now got a wireless connection into a small mom/pop ISP out here. Its about a 10 mile run to an access point somewhere in the hills. Not super cheap, but reasonably priced...
