Turns out the father of one of the kids I teach piano to is a CFII with 6000+ hours.
He lives somewhat close to me, and his brother in law has 2 planes that we can use with the only expensve being avgas.
I can finally fly without having to schedule a plane and CFI a week in advance, and for a fraction of the cost!
We already have flight plans for this weekend...
