I saw her take off from Redbird(Executive) about four years ago. Something to see! Also, I was with some friends near Paris (Texas) when some friends asked me what the noisy plane above us was. I looked up and it looked and sounded like a B29. Withe Foreflight in my pocket, I confirmed it. That was a surprise.

Of course, Mikes video is better than just seeing her take off or fly over.

The local museum acquired a B17 last year which is in Oregon now getting major work done. Will be back next year. Even THAT is an amazing sight. Anxious to see it back in operation and taxiing out past my hangar. I most likely will get a few rides in it and……..who knows?

Looks like a LOT work just flying it straight and level.

I think I saw the B17 last fall when I was there for much of the day with the Doctor Bonanza. Is the tail trimmed with red?

It’s been gone awhile now so I don’t remember Mike. It has a large multi colored triangle on the tail with red and yellow as I remember. It is pictured in my moniker t the left, but of course that is too tiny.
