I'm always low on space on my iphone.
I am given the option of 'VFR charts' (sectionals I'd presume) in addition to WACs.
If I dont load the WACs, what will I notice?

"VFR Charts" gives you Sectionals, Insets and TAC's. WAC Charts was a separate download category. Updates are no longer offered for WACs. Ones that have been previously downloaded and not deleted still appear with "EXPIRED" noted. EXPIRED appears on both the downloads page and on the Map when you select "World Aeronautical." Right now there are 22 WACs for a US subscription. 8 of them have expired.
 
I have turned WACs off, and deleted Expired, then turned FF on & off 2X...,
but the WACs remain.
Once selected, they are stuck to you.
 
Turning them off, only turns off future updates (which won't happen). Delete Expired will not delete those that have not expired. You can delete invidual charts if you haven't "turned them off" yet by swiping over their listing.
 
I was able to 'turn them on, then delete them. Slightly counter-intuitive but it worked, thanks f-ron.
