Pre-takeoff checklist
I have recently been elected to the board of my flight club. The new board has decided to look over our operations to make sure we are operating efficiently. As part of this, we had a broker quote our insurance policy with several companies. We have been with Avemco for quite some time, but were shocked at just how much less some other companies quoted us for the same coverage.
Both AIG and QBE quoted very similar pricing to each other. The AIG policy was slightly cheaper, but QBE offered slightly better coverage. We are now debating switching to one of these companies.
If you have any feedback on either one of these companies, good, bad, or otherwise, please share. If you do not want to post it publicly, I would appreciate a PM. We want to make a switch if it makes sense, but not at the sacrifice of customer service and proper claims coverage.
