Any one have an opinion on how long I should stay grounded after getting a complete set of dentures. I subconsciously use IMSAFE before flight, and would never fly on Pain Meds. But is there some "rule of thumb" I can consider?? I have had some discomfort descending when I had a cavity.
This leaves me to believe the empty sockets might be a factor before they heal.. Trying to plan ahead........Thanx, KD

I'd wait 48-72 hours after any extraction but if the discomfort of a new denture is minimal, there shouldn't be any reason not to fly. You'll be distracted on the Mic for about a month as speech production is different- but the folks seem to get used to it rapidly...
