Well last year when I used to frequent a local bar, I noted that upon handing over my credit card to pay for my tab, a large bird appeared in the middle of the card as it passed under the blacklight over the bar. Seemed pretty nifty that the bank thought of that as a counterfeiting countermeasure.

Cue to a month ago when I moved into the new apartment. In one of my boxes I found a blacklight, so I decided to look at some other credit cards I had to see if they had similar markings. The mastercards I had have an M C on the bottom half of the card, and one visa had a V over the visa logo. Then my mind started pondering... what about the FAA certificate? Surely they'd think of something to put on there. Sure enough they did.

The entire card is covered in the statement FAA. FLY SAFE. FAA. FLYING SAFELY. with a large DOT symbol on the front of the card in the background, and a large FAA symbol on the back of the card in the background. Definitely interesting.
