f70 opinions

Thinking about basing at F70. Any opinions on the airport? Hangars seem very pricey.

I used to rent out of F70. Can't comment about the hangars, but it was easy peasy close to San diego, Las Vegas or LA. On My last flight out of there a Cessna was upside down in the dirt.

Decent airport. But if you do base there stay the hell away from the avionics shop on the field.

I like flying over there to practice my landings. Nice long, quiet runway. Cant really tell you much besides that.
