Is there a price break on lycoming/TCM certified engines if you are putting them on an experimental aircraft?

Vans Aircraft sells Lycoming Certified and "Experimental" engines that can only be used in its kit airplanes, and there is a price difference:

I imagine the factory may sell them direct but I haven't checked.
