so how do you see the winds aloft, mine seems stuck on surface winds, no buttons to change vertically.
can see on flight path tool ok

also, the sat view at night is all dark, no option to select ir

Dave, I'm not sure what you mean by "experimental" ADDS.

When I look at the winds aloft maps, there are buttons and menus right above the graphic to change the altitude and time.

On the Satellite page, just above the little map that lets you pick a single radar site, you can choose IR - If you're already looking at a satellite image, you'll have to go "Back" to the main satellite page.

Dave is probably referring to a product called "Experimental ADDS"

It's very useful nowadays.
