Some of my cash amount cells are blue and underlined....just like an email address. Like this $ 2.58

What am I doing to do that. I want it to go away!

Thanks

select one such cell, and check the cell's format (format->cell)

What kind of format is it?

Thanks Bob.

Yes. It WAS formatted blue underlined. But I never formatted it that way. Such cells are right next to email addresses, so they must have gotten formatted somehow due to their proximity.

Thanks

Inserting cells, rows, or columns the "proper" way tends to copy the formatting of adjacent cells, rows, or columns. Was your new with the underlining cell inserted somehow?

Well, I think I copy and pasted the emails in the adjacent cells and right arrowed to the next.

BTW, I just noticed that if you have a hotmail account you can use Word, Excel, and Powerpoint right on the web. No need to buy!:goofy:
