Unfortunately I had a prop strike at idle on the Lycoming O-290D2 engine with only 80 hrs SMOH in my 52 Piper Pacer. Luckily I had haul insurance and I am going to be do most the repair work myself except for the prop strike inspection. I'm looking for a good engine shop that does prop strike inspections. My Pacer is based at KLHM Lincoln, CA.
