Hi,
I have recently had a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) that is currently being treated with Xarelto. I have a current 3rd class medical until 2024. What should I do now to stay in compliance for flying. I've read that I should wait 14 days to fly while on Xarelto to see if there are any side effects and I have also seen 6 weeks for warfarin.
I believe it is from sitting in a chair way too long with not enough breaks/stretching so I do not believe it to be genetic.
Anyone who can give me an idea of how long to wait to fly to staying compliance with the FAA and what other things I might have to do would be appreciated
