Don Rickles

Very sad, He was one of the best. Sadly, he would be castrated and burned at the stake these days for doing his routine. Loved him on the dean Martin roasts. Back when comedy consisted of being funny instead of just swearing.

Agree. Dirty comedy rarely ever makes me laugh, but Rickles' was good clean fun, although his filter got smaller and smaller in the past few years. Anybody who takes jabs at folks these days would take offense, but Rickles could do it and it was hilarious. I can truly say his comedy made me laugh as very few comedians today do.
 
There was another actor that said it was an honor to be insulted by Don Rickles because that meant you were somebody.

I don't remember who said that.
