This was just posted on rec.aviation.soaring. Interesting:

 
My understanding is that the glider is at Vne, probably in the mid 100 knots range
 
As far as I can tell, the jets didn't have flaps extended. I'm surprised they could fly slow enough.

I could almost hear my dads humorous voice over the intercom saying "slow down just a little then a little more and just keep doing it."

I've heard (and some of the military types can confirm if it's really true) that the Soviets used to try that trick with their bombers along the Alaska coast. Sucker an intercepter to come in close, steadily slow down and lose altitude, then turn into them in an attempt to cause them to stall/spin.

That was a neat video. During one of the club flying days, I thought I heard a turbine engine aircraft go by - it turned out to be one of the sailplanes making that sound as it cut through the air.
