They sold 66 to date. The airplane costs about half to 2/3 of a new Skyhawk, using a break-of-century almost-new donor.
 
Saw the video earlier today,price point didn't seem to bad,they offer plenty of upgrades. Getting a like new airplane,with no worry about 100 ll availability. More and more diesel reposed optios becoming available. Woul consider a diesel next overhaul if available.
 
They don't mention if the engine is turbocharged, but it would just about have to be to put out equivalent horsepower without a large increase in weight at the same RPM.

It is turbo'ed for sure,,, Clearly shows one at 1:40 into the video...

Discharge from the turbo leads to the intercooler...
 
Yeah, hard to imagine non-turbocharged diesel on a plane of that size, that isn't painted black from the factory... :)

As a Diesel it will be, they do not do nearly as well in efficiency without, plus there is the smoke issue.
