Diabetes and hypertension SI routine

I had a man ask me about flying yesterday. Turns out he takes metformin, glycoside and liprinosil. I told him I'd ask about how/if he might be able to get a special issuance.
So, is there a quick answer or should I have him call you, Bruce, for a consult?

Better yet, pilots tend to be more coherent with email. Give him aeromedical doc @ comcast.net (no spaces).
