The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
For the iDevices, there are several good FAR/AIM applications. ASA's is my current favorite with it being easy to read, search, and navigate.

Does an analog exist for the Windows Desktop environment?

(yes, I've seen some of the weblinks to different websites that permit searching of the CFR's, but they aren't the best interface to use, search, read)

The AIM is available from the FAA as a PDF. Acrobat reader works well.

I haven't found one yet, Mike...and I've tried as you probably have.

That ASA iPad app is great. I think we've both recommended it to others before either here or on the (dead?) red board.

Would be nice if something like that existed in the desktop/laptop world.

Mike

We have enough coders on these forums, ya think someone would take on the project...

What's wrong with the direct links and CTRL+F if you choose not to use the search function on the eCFR site if you're on a desktop?
