Actually it might be fun but this is a busy weekend for us... should have stayed retired.

I was stationed at Lowery AFB in 1955, went to school there. Eisenhower was there recovering from a heart attack. Big pass in review, AF BAnd, the whole works. B36 landed, taxied to the parking area, sank into the asphalt and was there when I left, 8 months later. The last flying NCO, Master Sgt. , Buzzed the field, landed, taxied up close to the reviewing stand, got out on the wing and saluted the President. BIG smile, Ike saluted him back. Beautiful country, great place to be stationed.
