Weather has been back and forth a lot lately which isn’t a shocker here but it looks like it would’ve been good for my checkride next week. Then I get a text from my DPE saying she isn’t available due to a corporate flight that takes her out of the area. Not complaining, just a little bummed. I knew it was a possible event when I booked her but finding DPEs in this area is tough, even in the non flying season so I doubt I’ll get anything sooner than the new date.

Good luck, eventually it will all come together. Keep studied up, with a refresher flight if the gap gets to long.

The FAA needs to evaluate their entire DPE selection and retention process.
