default font goes italic - everywhere.

Win XP,

Default font is italicized in pretty much every program. Sister claims to have done "nothing" to change it on her computer. My google-fu has failed me on solutions. (Attempted overwriting all the fonts from font on another computer - no joy)

In display properties (right click on desktop, choose properties), click on the Appearance Tab, then click on "Advanced." Cycle through each of the "items" dropdowns and see if they're set to italics (click on the italicied I button next to font).

I'll bet somehow, some setting got set to italics.

Make sure you have both shoes on. Maybe you have a bit of a 'lean' that makes everything look italic.
