We flew to Death Valley a few weeks ago... Here are some Pix.

Great destination, except between May and Sept...

Brian,

Some tips:
1. If you can, join Death Valley from the south.. it's a great 30 mile
flight up to Furnace Creek...
2. You get a free ride to the Furnace Creek area from Furnace Creek Arpt
3. You stop at the gas station on the way back and tell them to drive
over and turn on the assisted self-service pumps. Then they drive
back to the gas station and run your credit card. Honest.
4. There's a tiny museum there called the Borax museum
5. Two restaurants to eat at.
6. The flowers are gone... and the temporary lakes are drying up
7. Great side trip to Stovepipe Wells area (10 min flight) north.
