I don’t understand why my emails to Carol aren’t getting through, but I appreciate your repeated attempts to let me know. It would help me if you would explain to me why they aren’t getting through so that I can fix what I am doing wrong.

I wrote this email to DAEMON about 8 years ago, when I first started using computers. He never did answer my question.

Sometimes when I read these long threads about computer stuff, I'm amazed at how much you "computer people" know! I want to thank you all for helping the rest of us who aren't as computer savvy, especially those of you who are kind and patient while doing so.

Thanks for sharing that, Diana. As the person that gets all of "Daemon's" e-mails on our servers I can assure you that his cryptic messages have been the result of many an attemted conversation. What he speaketh does fixeth the problem, but you definitely have to know how to speak his language.

One of the Solaris SA's I work with is named "Damon". Sometimes when we are troubleshooting it's like the cockpit scene from "Airplane":

Tim: Well, the message from Daemon said "...."
Damon: I didn't send any message!
Terry: Huh?
