Got bored while cleaning the laptop today and decided it needed a new look.
I ended up spending about 4 hours on it today. After tearing it down, i took the parts over to my buddys paint shop, and started preping the peices. I shot a bright white coat first, then masked off parts i intended to keep white. then shot the blue. Dunno what this shade of blue is called, but it shure looks nice. waited about an hour and then shot a clear coat over it all. i think it turned out nice.

Looks good...I'm not sure I'd spend 4 hours on it but it does look good.

Michael, congrats on the good choice of colors and a great job. How cool would it be to paint the Mooney in the same colors! While you're at it, maybe a flight suit to match. Now we're talking!

Michael, some might say you had too much time on your hands. And I'd be one of 'em.

But that is some nice work, and I always admire a job well-done in any worthy endeavor, and this certainly qualifies.

Cool!
