I have 500 landings in the same plane and my hands still sweat every time i turn base to final and setup for landing.

You must've gotten the heated yoke option.

Thanks for the welcome! I had Lyme disease good and hard and for a long time before it got diagnosed and treated. So when the FAA form asked all those "have you ever in your life had...?" questions, I had to give them a whole lot of YES. And, of course, every damned YES needed a doctor's sign-off that I'm OK now.

We're down to one last one. I'm seeing the doc who should be able to sign it off tomorrow, and will resubmit in the next few days (I hope). They're running about 3 weeks on approvals at the FAA office, so I'm hoping to have the medical out of the way SOON. (Hey -- I've only been working on it since April...)

So, tell me: is it like this every time around, or does it get easier once the FAA's up to speed on your issues?
