I'm confused (no surprise). Where did you get 88FL? AFAIK, that's a heliport down in Stuart, FL. This accident was in Nassau County (Fernandina Beach area).

We call that VTOL. Most of the planes I've flown are very bad at VTOL.

Yeah, my Beech can't do the "TO" part of VTOL at all, and it can only do the "L" part once.
