Tough to give up double the HP on the same basic airframe. Guess I'll pass.

It is at the top of the price range for not having the 180 horse upgrade.
 
Yep, it's tempting because I like them so much, but impractical at this point. And the 180 is set up exactly as I want it so starting over sounds good for about 15 minutes before reality sets in. I don't fly many long trips now, but TAS of 150 kts makes them tolerable if not wonderful. 170's are fun but slow as the itch.

they are a fun aircraft to chase hamburgers, but a cross country machine they aren't, but they will operate cheaper than the 180, but that is about all.

Mine isn't as pretty as this 52 model you've found. I do love the shiny though and would love the opportunity to get rotator cuff surgery taking care of it. :D

Get a load of that sparkling engine compartment. Never seen anything as clean as that.
