Corsair

what is it about the Corsair that makes it so appealing? Is it the memory of the TV show (and seeing the very handsome Robert Conrad getting out of its cockpit) Baa Baa Black Sheep? Something about that gull wing that seems so "jaunty" or something. At OSH last year on the last day the air show included a Corsair performing manuevers with just a musical accompaniment, not the typical narration. I was weeping it was so beautiful.
