We were able to set up the same process for our recent JABOG event. Those with SPOT and no ground crew could easily be tracked at the local FBO office. We had enough people out on X-C that most people could radio relay back to crews waiting at Tonopah.

It worked great!!

im really enjoying this.

ZS is Steve Leonard, a local guy. Its interesting to watch different strategies play out.

Basics: you have to fly into each cylinder but how far into each cylinder is up to you. judgement based on how the weather is, your gliders performance, and how good you think the weather is going to be as you go around the course. another wrench is that at least some of the guys are flying in sports class which is handicapped so the higher performance gliders have to fly further to get the same score as the low performance guys.

Yesterday in his highish performance Zuni steve got beat by a couple of medium performance PW-5's thanks to the handicap. I noticed that Steve pushed pretty deep into the first cylinder today.

Cool!
