Anyone know if Hangar 12 restaurant is still operational. Tried calling the number, not working.

Yep, I will second the vote for Brenham, TX.

Gulf Coast Regional (Lake Jackson, TX -- KLBX) also has a great restaurant called Crosswinds Cafe.
 
Dallas executive has a great Restraunt as well. Best burger I have ever had and they have outside seating available.
 
I agree Brenham has a great restaurant. Been to LBX once not Tyler yet, button the list.

I was just wondering if hangar 12 was open, I have to go there next week.

Too bad they closed the Cowhop... that was a good spot on Northside for good grub on student budget.

You could always visit the Dixie Chicken.

Easterwood (KCLL) is a very nice airport with a well run FBO.

Some cargo and people. I think I remember his employer does some form of airborne site survey. He mentioned load and endurance were considerations.
