(CNN) -- A Navy transport airplane with 25 passengers and crew aboard made a belly landing Monday evening at a naval airfield in Norfolk, Virginia, after its main landing gear failed to descend.

"Train like you fight - fight like you train" We used to run emergency drills of some kind of other nearly every flight, full gamet of emergency drills training on a quarterly basis (half day of ditch and bailout drills on the ground as well as all the other procedures) and annual NATOPS checks. Wish I could say I was still as diligent in GA flying...

Yeah, unfortunately, I noticed it after I posted when I checked on the other areas, and I couldn't delete the post...
