I was searching for airports near casinos, googled KMPO and sure enough, on final........

There's also Bullhead, AZ with the boatride across the river to Laughlin and casinos.

I used to live five mins away from KMPO. My kids went to school right up the road. I've only landed there once, hey that might be me:).
 
Until I saw the second picture I thought the humor must have been have been runway 13 while on your way to gamble. I have trouble finding humor in downed aircraft, or perhaps that is someone flying low on finale to 13. The vegetation does not seem to be covering any part of the airplane, it might be flying just above the trees.

it's a satellite image of a plane on final. no downed aircraft. not even sure where that idea came from.
 
Nice catch. I'm not much of a fan of Mt. Airy (the nearby casino); I called once and they wouldn't even send out their parking lot shuttle van to pick up incoming gamblers.

In the immediate area I prefer Sands in Bethlehem (via KABE -- not really convenient -- or KXLL, even less so) and Mohegan Sun/Pocono Downs in Scranton (via KWBW or KAVP). If you must, Parx -- formerly Philadelphia Park -- via KPNE.

One nit to pick: KMPO is untowered; we're all cleared to land there... ;)
 
Santa Ynez (KIZA) in CA...if you overshoot the runway you'll run straight into the Chumash Casino.
 
I hear KLAS might have a few casinos in walking distance . ..
