Hey guys.

Any news concerning this airplane? It seems that the project is frozen...

However, anybody heard about the aircraft's performances concerning takeoff/landing distances?

It was at AirVenture, but cordoned off. About 3 weeks ago they flew it to a small event at KUES. I looked in and noticed that it is still very much a test bed aircraft, with chute harnesses for the pilots, etc. It didn't seem to change much from when I saw it last fall.

Well, when AK was still around, he talked about it being able to get out of C81 which is where he goes to visit his kids. The longer runway there is 3,573 feet - So presumably they're trying to get it in and out of 3,500 or less, probably even 3,000.

But, don't expect it to get out of your 1800' grass airpark strip.
