My first general aviation ride was at CHK. I was a CAP cadet there also back in the 70's.

That's cool, Clark. I live about 30 miles east of there in the small town on Lindsay. I did my training at CHK and that's where I continue to fly their rental planes. I think it's a neat little airport.

Two of the old military hangers that you might remember got blown away by a tornado a few years ago, and they have since replaced them with two nice new ones.

I did a discovery flight in 09' there. It got me hooked and I'm now a pilot. I'll have to work this into my schedule, looks awesome
