Changing SSRI dose

I'm reaching 6 months on an approved SSRI and am starting to question if I should change my dosage to a higher one. I feel pretty good at my current dose but wonder if increasing would be beneficial. I worry that if I go through the whole SI process and then it turns out my dosage isn't enough, that the FAA could reject me saying that SSRI's aren't helpful for me when I go through the whole process again.

Should I change my dose now and waste the almost 6 months I've been stable, or try to go back to work and then go through the process again if need be? Does one option look worse to the FAA than the other?
 
That would not be a wastage.
That would be an investment in BETTER HEALTH.
And if you change the dose while the SI is live, you are down 6 months until stable on the changed dose, reassessed, reapplied, etc etc etc.
So do it NOW.
