I have a Cessna 182 with a garmin 1000 fitted. Occasionally on take off when the RPM is usually 2450, I get an indicated overspeed to 2700 and the associated flashing red numerals. There are no other indications of malfunction and certainly no power surge and wonder whether is could be a transmitter problem? Any one had similar problem?

With thanks

Richard

I've seen that happen in a couple of my CAP Wing's 182T's. I think usually turns out to be a loose or dirty connection in one of the cannon plugs.

Thanks for your reply Lee
