Caribou Nosewheel "Landing"

I would classify this video as " Do Not Try This At Home".

Looks like one of Hennings landings. :rofl::rofl:

The deHavilland Buffalo will do the same thing. Those airplanes had so much flap that with enough speed they'll climb nose-down.

But anyone trying that is risking a wheelbarrowing accident. It's a nasty groundloop. The guys in the video know what they're doing.

At London's Heathrow airport, it was fairly common in the 1950's to see Constellations landing nose wheel first after a transatlantic flight.

Connies? Interesting. I've heard the B-377s routinely landed nose-wheel first, but hadn't heard about Connies.
