I did a search and the number of times "carbon" is mentioned on this forum would take me days to find a post on who has used it and how good it is. So, who has used it and how good is it?

I've used Aero Cosmetics Belly Wash and it does a great job, but at $14 a pint I'm looking for something a little more cost effective. I can get a gallon of Carbon-X for $25 and it dilutes to 20 gallons.
 
Use it once a week on our Helicopter. We've got a big drum container of the stuff. I just eyeball the ratio. Works great for carbon buildup on the tail.

What color?


If it's white and a 206 or smaller I'd just go with gojo
 
<sigh> Its a white Cherokee and finding gojo without the pumice isn't that easy.

No auto parts stores near you? I'm in the boonies and all but one out of four have it 30 minutes away.

But there's always the Internet.

Always hated goop, gojo much better. Goop just smells weird.
 
I've been using carbon-x for nearly a decade on my Cessnas. I love the stuff. Easy to use and effective.

I bought it and a gallon of Fleet Wash as well. I diluted the Carbon X 20/2 instead of one and it worked great on what little I've tried so far. Denver, I also bought some Goop as well just for comparison. Found it at Walmart.
