I am running Win 7 and IE 10. I have some link broken in that I cannot open a PDF contained in a WEB page.

I get a file not found error. I must do a "Save as" and open it up that way which is a pain.

It is not Acrobat since I changed to Acrobat Reader and got the same error.
I have no trouble with PDF files unless they are contained in a WEB page then it's no-go.

Thanks for any suggestions

I had the same thing happen the other day with a customer. The solution I came up with was to go within IE 10 to Settings, internet options, advanced, reset, reset. Then restart IE and the prompt to OPEN was then brought back when viewing a PDF
